Arrived JFK @ 7:10 AM, 20 minutes earlier than suggested by the tour book, but better safe than sorry. We assumed the best course of action was to go through security, so we don't hold up the rest of the group. (We = Me; Frederick, my husband; William III, aka, Squirrel, Frederick's college buddy/former roomate; and William II, Squirrel's dad, aka Deuce.) We now had a three hour wait before our flight, so we read the newspaper, checked emails, chatted, watched the airplanes taxi and take off, and did whatever we could do to kill time.
Our chariot awaits us.
Some of us were exhausted from putting the City to sleep.

Almost halfway, but not quite.
This was a long flight, approximately 15 hours flying time. Can we bring back the Concorde jet? Better yet, Beam me up, Scottie. Thank goodness there was lots on in-flight entertainment. I finally had the time to watch "In Time".
